About this site

What is this site?

This website serves a dual purpose as my personal webpage and as an apologetics site devoted to articulating the Christian faith.

Who are you?

I am a theoretical chemist who is currently working a Duke University. You can read more about how I became a Christian in my essay How I became a Christian.

Why all the Wikipedia references?

I wanted to find a source of information that was readily excessible, free, and had no intrinsic religious bias. Wikipedia was the site that best met these criteria. If anyone find errors in my essays, please contact me by email. I would like all of the information on this site is as accurate as possible and will correct it whenever I find a mistake.

How do you select the topics for essays?

Much of my writing actually began as email conversations I have had with various atheist and agnostic friends. So if you have questions or comments about anything you find on this site, feel free to email me.

Can I reuse or repost use the contents of this site elsewhere?

Yes, you are welcome to reuse or repost anything you find helpful on this site. However, please try to quote me in context and provide proper attribution by linking to the site itself or referencing it in your work.

Why did you create this site?

I have been following Jesus for almost ten years now and I can say with complete honesty that I have no regrets. My hope is that anyone reading this web page would either find their faith in Jesus Christ strengthened or would for the first time consider His claims. To newcomers, I highly recommend the book The Reason for God by Tim Keller. It is a phenomenal book. Free sermons treating many of the topics covered by this book can be found here.
